I recently bought a cardone steering gear box, for my 68 net, from an ebay seller. The ad clearly said, 62- 70 b & e body. The wrong part was sent. The three main bolt holes did not line up. The sellers ad said, no returns. Thankfully, he took it back. Though i did have to pay return shipping. I also ordered a " round back " alternator, at about the same time, from another ebay seller. The ad description clearly said, round back. I waited weeks, and finally received a square back. I sure miss buying from brick & mortar stores. Waiting on shipping takes too long. And sellers on ebay seem to have no clue. It's no wonder this resto is taking so long. I'm learning the hard way, to not trust, and to go by part numbers only. Buyer beware.

I buy as much as possible from brick and mortar stores, but unfortunately they don’t stock much.

I just purchased a set of tail light bezels, seller said excellent chrome not once but twice.
Pictures sucked, I just went on his word. Well they show up with peppering of the chrome, scratches and a dent in the one.
Says he don't take returns..... Until I got E-Bay involved
They are on their way back and I should get my refund soon.

They can write "No Returns", but that is only valid if they meet their side of the contract terms (functions and looks as described). It comes down to fault. They faulted. Communicate through eBay, so eBay has all the records, and get eBay involved. I've never had a problem with eBay and PayPal coming to the rescue and siding with me as buyer or a seller.
