Hi Guys', I believe that my voltage limiter is not providing the required 5 volts for the gauges in my instrument cluster. Although I haven't taken it apart and checked the circuit, none of the gauges work leading me to suspect the limiter. Previously I read a post on this site that explained how to replace the voltage limiter with a solid state device. The post said that this modification also produced more stable gauge readings as the voltage did not fluctuate. I can't find the post. Does anyone know the name of this post or where it's located? Thanks Brian.

Just to add my two cents; I pried the case off the dash regulator and gutted the bimetal switch. Then I mounted the LM7805 onto the case cover of the old dash regulator and wired accordingly. Good luck!

I got mine from Classic included with the circuit board. The old board was toast with loose and broken pins. Was a no brainer.
