Found this holding the ignition coil on a 1972 400ci engine converted to look like 1966 383ci engine. The nuts don’t look original to me. Anybody know what it is?

someone could of made it. Did you Google your part for your car?

I've seen those before, I assume they're factory. Not sure why they're used though.

does that bracket bolt to the intake and then the coil bracket to that? my 440 has this one.

Would it be a coil bracket spacer for cars with A/C, using that V-2 compressor? I have seen them before, but can not remember where.

The 2 holes are bolted to the factory coil location on the intake manifold, then the coil with bracket is attached to the studs using nuts.

Dave6T4, it is an A/C engine. The coil fits better without this bracket.
OKDart, that is correct.
