Color questions

I am building a 69 RoadRunner- originally a 383 4 speed, air grabber, 3.91 geared car. It was born A4 silver with black buckets and hood blackout treatment. The original 383 was long gone and will be replaced by a healthy 440, which I already have.
My question is about the color. I plan on using 2 stage paint, which may not be the same color as the original A4. The original paint I found on the car looks to have a little green in it, depending on the lighting. I'm looking for thoughts/opinions on using a modern silver color with pearl instead of the greenish A4. I know, it's my car do what makes me happy, but I would like opinions, pro or con.

Silver

If your not planning on selling it anytime soon a non-original color doesn't really matter except for resale value or the "die hard purists", that will say something about it's not the right color... I have always been partial to Silver's & Black's or combinations of both, or Greens like the Rally Green or Torquiose... My 68 RR is LL1 Surf Medium Dark Torquiose Bright Poly, originally like in the 68 Missing link advert. & will be again someday soon, for now it's Ultra Flat Black & Gloss Black w/red accents until I can afford to paint it the right way...

I think the modern silver color with pearl would look great myself. Sounds like a real nice car your doing, i hope you'll post some pictures when you do it, that pearl will make it look good if you choose to go with it.. good luck.

Mercedes has a cool Platinum Brilliant Silver that is just a great color, I have 'no clue' of the actual name or code is, it's on CL's, SL's & McClarens, it may be a decent choice too...
