The conversion was already done by the prior owner, but not completed.
Is the collar with the shift indicator up top a simple swap, or not?
Thanks

It is relatively simple but if you want to do it cheaper than finding the parts, here is a how to on FABO

I did that with an extra chicken leg column and it came out sweet. you cant even tell there was a gear selector pod on the collar. the only thing I did different was rotate the square shifter arm boss to the bottom where you cant see any evidence it was what it was. I didn't use any bondo or JB weld at all, just some grinding/sanding.

Cool, thanks for those suggestions. I did something similar when I shortened a crush can in my cuda. Cut with a grinder, welded, then ground the high spots and filled the low spots. It turned out sweet too.
I think I will give it a try.

In the process of doing it this afternoon. After about 3 hours so far Im now in the bondo stage.

Hey Tommy what cars this for? I have a spair floor shift column also know of one in wpb for sale too if you want I'll make a call to see how much .P.m. if your interested

Thanks
This is for my 72 runner, and thanks for the offer, but Im so far into this I might as well finish it.
I am not great with bondo. Its taken me at least 10 coats, sanding, coat, sanding, coat, spray primer filler, etc. you get the idea. Still not happy with it because it has some slight waviness to it. I hope to get it done tonight
