Committing a misdemeanor in Fla as of Oct 1, 2025

This is like getting a ticket for no front bumper on a Superbird, no side marker lights or shoulder belts on your '67 Gtx, the list goes on and on, fact is these cars were built to the NTHSA guidelines for there model year, end of story.

NTHSA was established by Congress 12/31/70, btw.

By the logic that I am seeing here, what happens when say you are talking to somebody and you lean back casually on your bumper. Now you are obscuring the tag. How does that make sense? Besides the obvious intent at purposely obscuring the tag. What about some of these plastic “frames” that hide the state and other info.
What would really pi— me off would be a proposed bill that may or may not pass that would require a front plate. I have a historical plate now on my car that was approved several years ago. There is no way that I would find a second plate like that. It does not exist.

Or maybe a car following or stopping too close will get ticketed for covering the tag of the vehicle in front of them… LOL
