Console woodgrain

The new woodgrain panels i have are the ones that have what i think is a thin metal backing. There not like the originals with had studs and were mounted. So i would think they have to be glued in place. What should i use to glue them in place? Any ideas are appreciated.

i use a spray on adhesive i buy at wal mart or the parts place.works goo for me,kent
