Conversion Power booster/ master cylinder bore size ?? ...whats size is your MC bore ???

When I bought my car ( 62 fury wagon) it came with a " Performance online" power brake booster and master cylinder that was already mounted on the car ( dual 8" booster & 1.125" mopar style master cylinder ) I fought with it untill I gave up and installed a DR Diff 15/16" full manual master cylinder. The car just would not stop safely, hard pedal, but the booster seemed to be working ???
At some point I would like to reinstall the PB system. For those of you that have converted from drum to a conversion power brake system ( disc/drum). What size master cylinder bore are you using ? I'm thinking that 1" master cylinder might have helped me out.
I have the smaller rotors disc's up front, with the big bore slider calipers, 10" rear drum brakes with new wheel cylinders, all new hoses, and adjustable brake valve to the rear brakes.
I'm thinking that the 1.00" bore should make the system work ???...any thoughts
 
The PO of my 67 wagon got the booster and master from the Doc along with his version of the Disc O Tech disc swap. The master is from a 76-80 F body[ Aspen/Volare] which is 1 1/32" bore. The master was leaking, had to get a new one and figured out what the application was. I did recently switch out the wheel cylinders to the ones recommended by E-Booger as the backs were not responding to my liking with the 11" drums. He had stated in prior MA tech articles that there could be a bias issue between front and rear, which these cylinders did take care of. I also put the bigger rotors on the front too.
If I'm not mistaken, POL sources their boosters from CPP which are notorious for not functioning properly or at all.
In case you're wondering, these are the wheel cylinders I'm using now.

Yeah , my booster is the general aftermarket summit/ebay swap meet type like CCP. I just watch youtube video ( ram man) on checking booster off the car, going to try that, not expecting much. My car is also a wagon , small rotors with large pistond, and 10 drums....tell me about your booster, how well does your PB system work now ?
 
If you have 'big bore' calipers, you will need to check that a smaller m/c has enough fluid volume in the bore for bigger cal pistons. Another option is moving the mast cyl rod up on the brake pedal, towards the brake pedal pivot for more leverage. Not sure how practical that is on your car, need to make sure pedal doesn't hit the floor. I have done this a few times to get the pedal 'feel' where I want it.

The booster has been fine. Overall since I swapped out the rear cylinders, it feels way better now. The units took care of the spongy feel. The Doc has been the go to for many others for a proper functioning booster. Give him a shout.

do you know , what the bore size is of those wheel cylinders ?
 
No. I didn't check before I put them on. He also doesn't give the specs on his eBay site. I do believe they are smaller though. I started off with units for a 70 b with 11" drums. Too mushy. 15/16" bore I believe.
