convertible top

while looking at my top down on my 69 gtx, i noticed at the frame in the rear panels i can see all the way to the inside of the quarter panel. i can see the pistons too. is there supposed to be some kind of cover over the hole between the top and the inner panel? any pics with the top down of the frame?

Yes. There is a top well cover. I don't have a pic.

If you are looking down where the rear door panels are, yes, you can see all the way down. The well liner is only that black area that the convertible top folds down into. At least that is how it is for our 69 GTX convert.
