Eons ago I had an '80 Cordoba, black, red leather interior. It had a six in it that gave me fits with carburation. But always liked that body style and size. Wish it would a had the teen in it; but my wallet was thin then getting a decent deal on it. I very seldom see these around, wondering if anyone on the forum might have one. Like to see photos if you do. Thanks

Coupe in Hemmings, think they are down in Stanton(?) IL. 300, Mirada, Cordoba

Hardly ever see 'um,though many were sold new.
Every once in awhile you see a stocker on RacingJunk.

This is an 80 Cordoba that I swapped out a Mirada front clip! It was a slant six!

This one is a real 83 Mirada, (also slant 6), That I drove for many years. Parts became hard to get, especially the plastic trim around the rear bumper and the front snout!

Here’s one of my many Miradas.
It was also a /6. I replaced it with a 360 and some simple bolt on accessories.

Now that's more like it! I actually still have a Sox & Martin full Pro Stock hood scoop that I was going to install on the silver car, along with a 4 barrel manifold & carb. The scoop is 7" high and illegal in the fuddy-duddy state of NJ. :(

Well, the above car is my street car.
This one gets me into some “technicalities” on the street....

Now that's more like it! A very rare sight indeed! Way back, (before they changed the water), I went to the Mopar Atlantic Nat's in Englishtown. In the several times I went , I only saw 1 or 2 Miradas. Some guy was selling one with a 360 and T-Tops. It was beautiful, but I couldn't afford it! Not only do I like the lines and Cord type grill, but they had huge fender wells as well.

Wow, You have cornered the market. I guess we did a fare job of hijacking this thread. Sorry There Ron H! Long ago I saw a Mirada at Harry's U-Pull-it in West Hazelton Pa. Someone had welded the hood bulge section from a 73-74 Road Runner on it. Come to think of it, maybe it was from a 70 Cuda. It was closing time when I saw it and although I went back the following week, the whole car had been crushed! By the way, I think I still have the rear tail light lenses for the Cordoba, the hard to find ones that have real chromed metal against the black surround.

Great posts - interesting to see how a few have brought these back to life.

I remember that car out at Milan Miradamegacab. Haven't seen it in a long time though.

Yes, many years ago I place a “Group buy for VFN Fiberglass parts” thread on FABO, FBBO and FFMJ. Member OldManRay and I purchased several items from VFN located in Illinois. I made plans to buy that Mirada from Craig in Michigan. So I did a road trip in my MegaCab from Long Island, making a pitstop in the “313” picking up the Mirada and drove nonstop to VFN. I slept for 1 hour in the parking lot, due to the time change, VFN wasn’t open yet. After loading up, I traveled through the southern part of Pa dropping off OldManRays fiberglass parts and driving nonstop to my house. Talk about a long road trip!!
