I have a 1970 dodge superbee. 383, Manual Trans, no Air, has PS and PB. I am trying to determine the correct carburetor to install. I do not know how to identify the letters on the left column above. The build sheet says 36.
Thanks

My 70 RR auto, no smog is Holley list #4366

The 36 on the broadcast sheet is the last two digits of the part number.

So, with that being said the correct carb for your application is the Holley R4367A P/N 3418536

Also what build date carb are you looking for? Some vendors on here can help if you reach out to them, Harms and woodruff.

4160 series, aye (I wonder how close to the 3310 that one is?).

A LITTLE HELP HERE TO BE SURE I GET THE CORRECT INFO. IS THERE SOMETING ON THE BUILD SHEET THAT WILL TELL ME?

Ben,
On the data plate is the “scheduled” build date, I’m not sure on the 1970 broadcast sheet as the 1968 is a bit different.

On the data plate, 2nd row from the bottom, 2nd to the last item will be the build date. It will be either a letter and two digits or three digits,

8=August 1969 01-31
9=September 1969 01-30
A=October 1969 01-31
B=November 1969 01-30
C=December 1969 01-31
1=January 1970 01-31
2=February 1970 01-28
3=March 1970 01-31
4=April 1970 01-30
5=May 1970 01-31
6=June 1970 01-30
7=July 1970 01-10

So 426 wouldn’t be a Hemi (that’s just a joke but had a guy tell me that years ago.) it would be April 26 1970

Hope this helps. Sorry I missed your call, it’s a full throttle weekend with a wedding last night, granddaughters birthday today and mine tomorrow.

The origional Holley 780 CFM was a Model 4150 R3310 and R3310-1, later editions were 4160 model R3310-2 and 750 CFM. The origional Holley was an emission oriented carb of the Model 4160 design using secondary metering plates. Its a decent carb but not real high CFM. The 1971 Holley carbs were also emission carbs but were 4160 design but used down leg secondary booster venturi and were rated at 750 CFM (arguable rating) example: R4668 Model 4160.
