Correct intake for '71 GTX?

Ive got a '71 GTX that was made in September of 1970 and am getting conflicting information regarding the casting number of the stock intake whether its a 2951736 or 3512501.

The Edlebrock 440 intake on it is too high and the air cleaner rubs on the bottom of my hood. i've already put a shorter air filter on it so I'm running out of options.

I suspect someone's monkey'd with the engine mounts as there's supposed to be adequate clearance.

You need to us the Cast #2951736 parts #2851737, according to your info you car was built Sept 70, early car, so you need and intake dated 8/70 or 9/70 the 3512501 would be a 71 intake , by my Galen Book:yes:
