I just brought a 70 RR 6 pk with 36,000 orginal miles on it. It was stored for 20 yrs, and motor and tranny (4 speed) recently rebuilt. Master cylinder leaking out of rear reservoir. The master cylinder I have the lines come out on the engine side, I viewed pictures of restored RR with 383/440 with line coming out on the fender side also, but the bends look real tight. I've seen on RR with hemi lines come out on the fender side but though that was because of the valve covers. I am real sure this is the original master cylinder on the car. I just was wondering does it matter for correctness.

Yes I think so. I believe that most cars with power disc brakes, incuding hemi cars had the lines exit on engine side. It is not that common. Most non power brake and drum brake B bodies have exit on fender side. If you have power disc , you should retain that style M/C for correctness. Even my numbers matching 68RR has that same engine side line exit. My car is original , with 4piston bendix disc brakes , and power booster.

BTW make sure you hit the welcome wagon, so every one can meet you. Also post pictures of your rides.
