The ‘68 to ‘70 B body 2 doors are all hardtops. They just built a cheaper version with a welded in post, and a hinged swing out window. You could change from one to the other in your driveway. The door glass would need to be changed as well.
 
Coupe is an old term from back in the 30's where the car had no back seat. They didn't have hardtops (without a B pillar or post) back then. They were either 2 door Coupes, 2 door sedans or 4 door sedans. The cars changed through the 50's and 60's to even include 4 door hardtops (with no B pillar of post to support the roof. ) I don't like to use the term "Coupe because the cars really aren't like they were back in the 30's when Coupes first came about. AMX is about the only Coupe in modern day cars. Even the Barracuda Notchback really isn't a coupe but called that because of it's short roofline.
