I have a set of 60 year old 15 x 4 fronts, been in my garage since 1980, can they be re-chromed? Anyone done this.

Too expensive and too difficult to find a place to do it in most cases. Cheaper to buy new.

We blasted and powder coated them Gloss Black.

It was 75 each a few years ago and the look great on his
car!

Probably can be done.
Will cost way, WAY more than they are worth.

You could investigate chrome-like powder coat.

As said above, buying new would probably be the best course.

Try powder coating instead of rechroming as mentioned above?

Powder Coating Color Collections | Shop | Prismatic Powders

Prismatic Powders has a chrome that is reflective. You can order swatches from them or you could check with a "powder coater" in your area and tell them what you want to do. Get a quote of course for them to strip, prep, and powder coat your wheels.

Extreme Powder Coating near Fort Belvoir might be worth considering.

I intentionally captured the reflections of my fingers in this swatch for "Super Chrome Plus"...that's my best attempt to catch its reflectivity. UMS-10671

I don't do powder coating. I was looking for silvers to match painted wheels on my cars; and possibly use the Super Chrome Plus on other car parts.

You would have to understand how chrome is applied. I say probably not. The chrome shop would have to have an exact reverse copy of your wheel, to do what they call 'scare chrome ' the chrome solution into the recessed areas. Doubt that you are going to find that.
This applies to anything chromed that has a recess in it. I could not rechrome the old steel wheels on my '72 Sportster for this reason.
