Yesterday I scored a Dillon 550C progresive reloader. In like new condition. Along with all the accessories for 9mm reloading. Plus a chronometer, scales, gauges, dies, powder, the mounting system(strong legs), 800 new casing, 1000 used cases (already cleaned) 3000 primers, tons of spare pieces parts, and...are you ready....3000 hollow point rounds.

Also included was a competition rig with a left hand 1911 kydex holster and 4 mag holders. I am right handed, but the extra mag holders are something I was getting ready to purchase.

$ 600 !!

The best part was the seller was an old high school friend that I hadn't seen since 1979.

Sounds like good deal ,why was he selling it?

Years back I picked up a Pacific aka Hornady kit brandy new in the box for 60 bones. I only do .45, but it's packed away since my renovation. I'm running low so I may break it back out.

He decided to shoot sporting clays with some buddies. So, I wound up with all his 9mm stuff....except the pistols which he already sold.
I figure that I got about $2400 worth of stuff for $600. Heck, just the 3000 rounds is over 1k for FMC...hollow points are more.

Shotgun reload equipment isn't hard to find but handgun stuff and in particular 9mm stuff is hard to come by...

I just stopped at the Blue Crow Antique Mall on Saturday. They have a bunch of reloading stuff for sale. I don't know anything about reloading so I can't give you any details. They are on the Virginia Eastern Shore. I live in South Jersey so I won't be back there for about a month. Their info is:

Great Deal !! Have had great luck with Dillon products . Still have my XL650 from the '90s . Used to run about 500 rounds of .45 Auto through it a week . Just a little compressed air to keep it clean and a little lube to keep handle from squeaking was all it took .
