That era GM car with the X frame and rearward curved A pillars offer little to no crash protection. Lets see them try that same test with a mid sixties Imperial!

Yes the Imperial would probably do better but not so much the driver. Back in the 70's we hit a big telephone pole at about 40 mph in a 68 Power Wagon. Felt like I was thrown off of an 80ft cliff. Very luck to survive that but it screw me up but good.
