I just took outside temperature by counting cricket chirps, and it worked. Formula: count chirps for 15 seconds and add 40. I counted 30 chirps so add 40 equals 70. I looked up msn weather for La Paz and it shows current temp is 70 degrees!

I live in WI.
Turns out it is never below 40 degrees here! Who knew? :p

Jokes aside, now I have to try this!

Reminds me of Bob and Doug McKenzie and their Metric to U.S. measurement conversion, double it and add 30.
