You MUST let me know when you are going to be around, and come check out the "finished" house my wife and I survived the process of building! If you are in your supercharged Challenger, I have yet to experience being in one of those, but no matter what, please get in touch and let's meet up.
The Thursday venue for Mopars meeting up has changed since you came down, and it's WAY better! It's less than 10 minutes from the house, and in a park area with oak trees, grass, a pavilion, inside bathrooms, live band, etc..
YES! is the only choice my friend!

Link to the Cruisin the Coast website.
Schedule | Cruisin' The Coast
Anyone who can make it should, I promise you it will exceed your expectations! Beautiful coastline with sugar white sand, more places to go than I can begin to list, including casinos.
Anywhere from 7,000 to 8,000 registered vehicles, and lots that come there just to cruise.

First time going when I am bringing a car. What’s the process. Planning on coming just for the day. I guess the first stop is cruzin central to register or can I just go to the Mopar show if I’m going to be staying just the one day?

There are areas reserved for registered vehicles ONLY, but I believe that the area we have for Thursday in Bay St. Louis is not restricted. I just texted my Mopar buddy and follow up here. If they change the access boundaries I will not be held responsible. If I were only coming to the Mopar meet I wouldn't register only for that.

Just thinking by the time I get thru the register line the damn mopar show would be over.

Per my best friend and MOPAR brother, who is also has an official position in the Big Easy Mopar club: NO REGISTRATION required for the event.

Ok good. This has made this possible. I was leaning towards not coming if I had to go to cruise central at 9am and wait over there before even coming to Mopar Day. See you guys on the 6th

Yes, the route to the "Train Depot Area" where the Big Easy Mopar show is is not blocked off from anyone not registered. The route along the beach road that is on the Bay and runs about five blocks long before taking a 90° turn away from the Bay and down "the main street" will likely be blocked off for all but registered vehicles. This will not restrict access to the MOPAR gathering!

Well, I have been going to CtC at least one or two days out of the week-long event before it was well known, and my accurate memories of the weather are blue skies, low humidity, and a breeze.
This is the 26th year!
October in south Louisiana and Mississippi is one of THE best times of the year for great weather. Unfortunately, in the last 5 years we've had 2 significant hurricanes come in here that canceled at least a day or two of the event.
THIS WEEK is the "typical weather" that I remember for CtC. Strong cold front here in October means temperatures in the 50s and 60s first thing in the morning, and no hotter than the low 80s during the day with low humidity and that breeze....
Hopefully we will get a repeat of this week's weather from Sunday the 2nd through the following Sunday!!

We are geared up making last minute mods and maintenance stuff. We are hoping to get to the show early. Around 7:30 or so
