I’m considering buying a Dana 60 to put into my 68 Charger R/T. The one I’m looking at was in a GM (ug) :eek:ops: product and had the holes in the seats drilled out (how much I don’t know). Also one of the seats has rusted thru. Does the larger hole in the seat make a difference? If so can it be fixed or does the seat need to be replaced? Is there a source for new seats? Any help would be great! Thanks.

If you're talking about the spring perches they are available, and you would probably need to have them relocated anyway

Oh to clarify this is a B body axel. Where can I get the spring perches at?

Jegs, Summint, Mancini, Strange, Moser, and the list goes on.....what type of GM car was it in? Is it a car axle or a truck axle? The truck axle won't have a snubber mount on it.

HUH?? What GM product ever came with at Dana? Maybe a truck? None of the cars ever did that I am aware of. Lots of people PUT Danas in GM after the fact.

It's a B body rear end that someone stuck into a GM product and is now going back into a Mopar.....

I bet the axle is very happy to be going where it belongs! Look on the axle tubes - you may find marks where the old spring perches were mounted.

Correct-a-moon-doe! I can see a smile forming on it already knowing it’s going home. The axel still measures 44 inches center to center on the spring perches. Thanks for the help!
