Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat wrecked after just 18 miles

Fox News Friday 05 May (Cinco de Mayo)
Cleveland Power and Performance, a Columbus Station, Ohio, outfit that’s one of the country’s top sources for muscle car parts, recently picked up a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat that was rolled with just 18 miles on the odometer.

It’s the 20th totaled Hellcat the company has gotten its hands on, but by far the one with the lowest mileage. In fact, it’s third overall behind a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was driven 12 miles before it had its date with destiny, and 2006 Pontiac GTO showing just 11.

And people think it's just a "horsepower number". Fast cars can get away from you in a big hurry

Yes, great point
Me being an owner of a 2007 Shelby GT500
(200 miles on it)
I tell everyone who will listen:
"Anyone can drive any car FAST but it take a lot of discipline to drive a Fast car slow"

Yep, I remember when I got my 06 GTO there were stories every other week about people loosing it and wrecking brand new ones. Its only a 400 hp car, but if you don't know what you are doing, it can get squirrely real fast!!!!

No skills, lots of power, and a "hold my beer" attitude= provides the ultimate entertainment.

High performance cars & low performance drivers...
Don't mix well...

As much as I agree with the statements here and acknowledge there are a lot of retards out there...I heard this one got trashed in a recent tornado. Not sure if it's true, but I read it on another forum.

Anyone who turns the traction control off on one of those better be paying attention.

Cool info "big_shmoop"
I just assumed it was the result of the high performance car "getting away" from the driver....

Too many youngsters watching, and playing , grand theft auto and other racing games/movies. Think they can drive like that right out of the box.

I also wonder what it would cost to buy a wrecked Cat.Put that drive train in a 2500 lb roller.....

thats just a blink from me .
