Dash lights

On my 69 charger my instrument lights don't work. Where should I start to trouble shoot.

The panel dimmer switch is probably the problem!

10-4. Check the dimmer first. Spend the money on contact cleaner & lubricant (NAPA or your local Electronics Shop). My advice is to remove the entire cluster and clean every gauge works and contact as well as replace the voltage limiter with solid state.

X2 on that. Also wouldn't hurt to replace the lamps. i suggest the good LED bulbs, single LED for indicators, the 5 LED for the backlamp.

Is there a way to remove panel without having to tear down the entire dash?

I need to check my dimmer but don't know how to get it out

Have you checked the fuse?
