Ok this might sound like a stupid question, but I have to ask anyway. Does a 64 Belvedere have a dash pad or is it just metal? Mine does not but seeing the interior is part sport fury and mostly missing I just don't know.

Ken

Mine has a dash pad. It's held on by clips in the top of the dash. You should see a series of holes running along the whole dash (maybe 6 or so?). It also has a trim piece that's held on by interior screws along the underside of the dash.

Here's a pic of mine. The lower trim piece isn't on it in this photo. It attaches along the bottom edge just above the gauges.

64Bel thanks for the picture. looks like Im going to have to add that to the list of stuff to get.

The 64 Bel's are being repopped.

Havent seen/heard about the 64 polara's. If you have a decent core Lengendary or Just Dashes might be able to redo it.

Joe Souchy if memory serves correct. I'm not sure if he has a website or not, maybe someone here can help with that info.

I just in a magazine within the last month or so, and I cant find it now. I can't remember if it was mopar muscle, mcg, or mopar enthusiast, but it was one of those.

 Bit O Sticker shock. That might have to wait a while. Lottery here I come!

Wonder if there is still naugihide or felt available? LOL. Maybe some vinyl with the buttons? Our 64's have such a small pad. All I have left is the metal. Everything else went to dust.

Looks like Special T's is doing a limited run of them. Check in Mopar Collecters Guide for the advertisement.

I took another look at my dash and I'm not so sure it had a padded dash. The trim seems to fit up to the steel pretty tight. I'm not sure there would be room for the pad. Is it possible that the padded dash was an option? I'll try to post some pictures on Friday when i get off shift.

Ken

If there are holes on top of the dash, you had a pad, and the pad does not extend all the way to the A pillar trim as there is a gap between the two.

No holes in the dash only the speaker grill in the middle. Looks like it was painted red originally but is now black.
