Dawn Wells/Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island....Cannot afford breakfast

A neat way to make a living for those who actually get there. I remember I think George Reeves (?) the original Superman (TV show from the 50's) who was reportedly "typecast" so he ended up putting a .38 revolver in his mouth still a young man. Wonder how this happens? Think of William Shatner who did well post Star Trek and then Robert Conrad (Jim West - WW West) who didn't do as well; but made a couple more decent TV series until he drove his Jag wasted on booze crashing into another guy. Poor Bob ended up partially paralyzed though didn't let it get him too far down having a successful radio show. Before the days of Go Fund Me...I could go on but I've already bored yaz...

I don't do 'gofundme' stuff

I feel sorry for her situation too
not sure the whole situation either
can't fall for or believe the bias Hollyweird media either

She was a cute in her day,
I liked her over Ginger 'always', the girl next door appeal

doesn't mean I'm gonna' support her or 'gofundher'

it's tough on a lot of people, that lived the high life
now can't afford their senior years

best of luck Dawn

There's room for her at my house...just for the nostalgia if nothing else. She has to like dill pickles though.

Same here, will not participate with a gofundme page.
Take a look at this gofundme story unfolding.

Authorities on Thursday morning executed a search warrant at the Burlington County home of a New Jersey couple who raised $400,000 for a homeless veteran through a highly-publicized GoFundMe campaign last year.

Authorities searched the Florence Township home of Mark D'Amico and Katelyn McClure "in connection with a criminal investigation" into what happened to the $400,000 raised for Johnny Bobbitt in a GoFundMe campaign, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott A. Coffina said Thursday. "As of this time, there have been no charges filed."

Bobbitt's lawyer, Christopher C. Fallon, Jr., said Tuesday the money is gone. Jaqueline Promislo, who is also on Bobbitt's legal team, said the warrant was not in connection to their client's civil suit.

"Our case is a civil case so that would be beyond our authority to execute a search warrant. We are just working on a discovery at this time," Promislo said.
The couple's attorney, Ernest Badway, declined to comment when reached by NJ Advance Media on Thursday.

Bobbitt had filed suit against the couple alleging they were withholding the money raised to get him back on his feet. The search warrant was executed a day after the couple attempted to invoke their fifth amendment right during a hearing on civil suit.

McClure and D'Amico started the GoFundMe for Bobbitt in November 2017 after McClure ran out of gas on I-95 in Philadelphia. Bobbitt, who was homeless, gave her gas money and the couple later returned to find a way to help him.

Since then, the couple has come under fire when Bobbitt claimed he had not received most of the money. He said he was forced to file a lawsuit to get access the remaining funds.

Fallon said his client believed there was at least $150,000 left. That money was supposed to be frozen and transferred into a trust until the legal dispute was resolved.

Fallon said he'd only heard the $150,000 amount when the couple appeared on Megyn Kelly Today show last week.

Before that, Fallon claimed the couple told the Philadelphia Inquirer that there was $200,000 left.

On Tuesday, he learned that number is zero.

The couple claimed they did not give the full amount to Bobbitt right away because he struggled with drug addiction and they feared he would blow it all irresponsibly.

Bobbitt told 6abc he had to ask McClure and D'Amico for access to every penny he needed, and the three would joke that the couple were like his parents.

And it just goes on and on.

Both Shatner and Nimoy HATED the Kirk/Spock typecast for decades, as did Catherine Bach.

Eventually they all embraced it.

Must be nice to have a fairly large slice of pop culture history and maybe even fashion/clothing item forever associated with you.....or so you'd think.

Who knows? Star Trek was a bust when it came out and then boom goes from TV to the box office as a smash a decade later with the same cast...then another and another. Remember when Shatner told the trekkies to "get a life", made his life a success. My wife always thought he was a stone actor until she watched him on Boston Legal then thought he was pretty good after all.
