We celebrate again día de muertos here in Mexico, it's a day to remember those who die and we still cherish and love, and we celebrate them with altars, here we offered to the decease things , foods and stuff they enjoy in life, it's not a sad day, instead is a day of joy and celebration.

This is my altar, this is very personal, because I dedicated it to those I missed the most, my grandma above all and my dad.
My dad dies of a brain stroke two years ago, he really like bbq ribs, a coke and the cigarettes and thats my offered for him, my beloved grandma like panques and milk

Very cool thing to do. Blessing for your loved ones and for you sir.

Personally, I think Dia' de Muertos is a lot better way to remember loved ones compared to Memorial Day. It's definitely a lot more festive.
