Deal #2 that made my night or life!!

If this is a true story (I doubt it is), he should have got a bill of sale and taken both cars home that night (at least the Hemi car). I would have pushed that charger of the trailer and put the Hemi car on it. Then dragged it home one way or another. Even if the wheels burned off the trailer. It would be eaiser to come to an agreement on the true cost with the car and bill of sale in hand.

we call them....WELCHERS.... and personally i have no use for them. if youre not as good as your word.....then the way i see it,,,,,youre no good AT ALL !

True spoken I'm from that school I keep my word true to the best I can being out here I run in to all types and kinds of people but most of my friends are good honest people as am I I'll give you the shirt off my back if yours is burnt and do anything for my friends and family

Same story, different board! A guy was selling high performance exhaust manifolds, we had a deal cut and agreed to the price - someone else showed up and he sold them out from under me!

that is why you always carry 4 copies of a bill of sale with you... You never know when it will come in handy.

I called BS early. Grandad always told me if it sounds too good to be true.....(you should know the rest)

Okay sorry for dragging my feet about this whole charger story yes I do have the title it is going in my name in the morning...i ended up paying a total of $400 pretty much what she thought car was worth and I wasnt going to be mad at her I have a pic coming of the title...as for taking the car home it is a weekend project due to working 60 hours a week and borrowing my works rollback...she said she don't mind...and I do not know what motor is in the Charger because I cant open the door because the trailer wheel hump is in the way and I cant reach to open the window...but I am not rushing it right now trying to make room for at my house for the charger...yea it is rough I am not going to lie but interior isnt too bad got slapstick console rallye gauges buckets black vinyl with cloth inserts....I am not upset with the find...Now to the Hemi Belvedere it really does exist her brother in law lives in logan who owns the car (finally understanding their family connection) she sold/moved it to him (moved to his house while cleaning)...it is sitting in his garage she said gave me address to go talk to him...yeah very confusing call me b.s or whatever I dont lie wasn't raised that way..so needless to say I am going to make a trip with her down there to talk to him, which she said if we cant figure out a deal I might have something else you may be interested in (whatever that is idk)...but yea so I got the charger only heard stories of the hemi...but I looked in the garage the hood is gone and the car is gone from the garage...I hope i really figure all this out because I just want to see the hemi and bring home the charger and finally pop the hood...I tried to pop it through the grille but had no success any ideas how to pop it?...car is a 72 se as Tyler stated which he has seen the car...but thats all I got folks she is a very nice lady and glad I got to meet her

I have a reciept of the payment that was made just for backup...yea i frankly dont care what anyone may say about my story but hell anyone want to make a trip to logan (where i am picking up the keys) with me can come check out to see the hemi themselves I am anxious as well...the family was a very big mopar family on both sides she also had a willys jeep that sat out back that is gone too i remember seeing a year ago...but the lady doesnt seem like she is lying or anything...but very kind lady and i hope i get to meet the brother in law that knows more about all the cars she said...he was the determining factor in the sale of the charger..the whole inside of their house is all mopar or old car collectables very neat..well hope to find out the real mystery behind all of this myself..I do know my dad remembers seeing the car in the garage years back and I have seen it as well...

the 5.7 wasn't a deal - I got mine for 600$ and flipped it but the car and trailer egads! I feel sorry for the old lady though - I would of at least gave her double but thats me :eusa_eh:

HOLY Run-on sentence, Batman!
Wow!

On another note....
I agree with Tripod dog. A deal is a deal. If you commit to an agreement, live up to it. It will sound corny as hell, but I've often thought of what the "Duke" boys would have done. You broke it? YOU fix it. You promised? YOU deliver. Tripod dog will surely agree that it is a sad thing to see more and more people abandoning their integrity for a few extra bucks. Its even more sad than reading incoherant posts.
