I have a Cornett Wagon I started working on 30 years ago. I made it into a 2 door I bought a 2018 Demon drivetrain for it. Using a QA1 front suspension. Finally got the engine and transmission in it. I was hoping they could have the engine sitting in the 66 and later located. The motor fit but the rear manifold on the supercharger hits the firewall. I think QA1. Makes motor mounts to move it forward 2 inches. Or I’ll modify them. The Holley transmission crossmember should also work then. it took a lot of cutting of the floor and crossmember to make it fit. i’m happy to finally get it in.

Would an aftermarket cross over clear? Also be careful how far forward you go, lots of stuff to stack in front of engine and oil pan may come into play. I was able to move the engine forward with the QA1 mounts about an inch. I cut the front of the tube off and machined a spacer for the rear of the mount. That is a cool project.

I made a test fitting cross member. The mount is 2 inches rear of were it should be 2 inches forward and it will fit. Or I will have to modify the engine compartment for it to fit
