Dick Biondo Won't Be Down

RIP

AHH yes I remember listening to him on AM radio WKLA (1961)...... I was 16 and just got my drivers license with my first car... 1951 Plymouth 2dr living in Ludington Michigan.

Chicago was several hundreds of miles away but on several occasions the conditions were right we got skip off lake Michigan and was able to pick WLS Chicago station up on AM radio at nighttime only...

Dick Biondi commanded an unheard-of 60 percent share of all listeners during his WLS 890-AM days from 1960 to 1963.
