Did some work on the 65's trunk

I needed to add a firewall and paint the trunk because it was looking bad.

im glad you raised the cell up. i hate when they cut the trunk and drop mit down. nice job. i like the spatter gray myself.
 
I don't like the cell through the trunk either. I didn't want a hugh hole in the trunk just in case I ever turn it back into a street car. The car isn't 100% period correct so the black will do. I couldn't afford a Hemi so I put in a 500 MW.

They dont enforce it here but the IHRA rules state the top of the cell is to be no higher than the top of the rear wheels.
 
I cell isn't as high as it appears. The sump is only a 1/2 off the floor.
 
SSR: Nothing wrong with a Max Wedge at all. They put out Hugh power. I think my next build will be a B1 headed 500 or bigger. I will talk to Best Machine when I get ready to do this.
