rev-1 LA DC cams added and Engle KV series
There are three Engle series
Engle K grinds are new aggressive profiles designed for .904" diameter lifters and larger for use in high performance street & strip
There are three Engle series KV solid & hydraulic grinds are new aggressive profiles designed for .904" diameter lifters and larger. They are for racing only!
Isky Megacams are .842 lifter profiles- provided for cross reference only and because we sold a lot of them
Newer DC cams have .050 duration provided
DC did not provide with older cams, one way to tell the older cams
unwisely DC/ MP changed vendors and profiles but kept same descriptions
did change the part numbers
Note for example the DC 260 I measured at 261 @.008 but it's 269 @.006 if you want to compare with comp, lunati, howard
and it's 284 @.004 or at SAE to compare with Crane and the big production cams from Sealed Power, Melling, TRW, Wolverine, Elgin, Edelbrock, Summit, etc
Difference is even more with lazy factory grinds- less with more intense grinds
BVVC
we have established that Mopar seat durations are about .008 as are Engle (K) and close to Isky Mega
maybe some Crower but have not checked with them

FROM HRM
An asymmetrical lobe refers to opening and closing ramps that are not identical. In order to maximize both valve speed and control, the lifter must be raised in a different manner from which it is lowered.
For example, in performance applications the valve is generally opened as quickly as possible, but the speed of the valve slows significantly as it nears maximum lift to keep it from lofting. Which is why you need to get your geometry correct
But on the closing side, the valve must be seated relatively gently to keep it from bouncing. An asymmetrical lobe design allows this.
