So I'm doing a front disc brake install on my 71 Charger and I'm using factory parts. I bought what I was told were 71 Charger disc brake spindles. I know they are disc brake. What I don't know is what year and application they are actually for.

I installed the timken set6 bearings in my 71 Charger rotor and attempted to mount them on the spindle... NOGO... The shaft diameter of the spindle is too large to allow the set6 timken bearing to seat all the way down.

I know that's limited info, but what spindles did I get sold?

if those are correct for the application then the spindles are somthing else...if they are for drums...get the correct ones for the application

Probably have the 73-up A/E disc, has larger bearings. Real common swap for the B-bodies.

Yup. If i remember right, the 73 and up spindle diameter is 1/8 inch greater than the earlier part. Dollars to donuts that's what it is. If the whole setup you bought is for the larger spindles, keep it and upgrade the bearings to the new size. As Marks said, that's the most common upgrade...
