Looking to swap my 71 sat's from drums to 73'-76' A-body disc front knuckle (Disc-o-Tech conversion). The swap calls for the 11.75x1in Cordoba rotors with 70'-72' b body calipers. But I know the knuckles (drums instead of disc) can also take the 75-'85 two wheel drive half-ton Dodge pickup rotors which are 11.75x1.25in (viper conversion), but can 70'-72' b body calipers work with those rotors?

73' Chrysler new yorker also came with 11.75x1.25 rotors...

Has anybody tried this before??

You guys have been great with knowledge you have provided me on this, Thank you!!:icon_pray:

I don't know the answer to your question, but have you done an advanced search for 'disk brakes'? Probably 100 threads, I'm sure some address your particular application.

The C/Truck discs are too wide for the A/B/E/F/J/M/R calipers

You will use the Viper calipers with the 1.25 rotors. C body stuff dont fit B bodies.

There is somebody over on fabo that has done it.....something about bearing spacer?!?

Thanks! I'll probably just go with the 78 Cordoba rotors then. If I ever have enough money, ill do the Viper swap with 1.25 rotors.

But I have another question. I'm going change my Master Cylinder and brake booster. But I would like to swap to the later 2 bolt style booster and aluminum master cylinder out of say a 79' up car, like a Chrysler Cordoba. The 4 holes that mount to the firewall should line up, but the pushrod may be a different length? I think they make adjustable ones...?

Any suggestions?
