It bolts on under the door glass. The rolled edge (top side of the photo) hits a rubber bumper bolted to the bottom of the door.

Thank you! mated it up and makes all kinds of sense now. The power window car I bought came disassembled so it's been a puzzle in a few places. Thanks again!
