I really liked Hemmings Muscle Machines but that folded. The only one I get is from Hagerty called Driver's Club.

Just received my Hagerty Driver's Club magazine. It's a great read and almost halfway through it.

My friend brings me issues of Hemmings when he's finished reading.

I miss my car magazines.

I probably have ten thousand car magazines
The only one I've looked in in months, if not years, is a paper summit catalog. No subscriptions any more, and the last ones I had, the magazines folded.
Three mopar mags, car craft, pop hotrodding, hemmings musclecars, etc. (Exception being Hotrod, but they lost my interest, and I let that one lapse.)

For years (like 15 to 20) I subscribed to 3 Mopar magazines. Mopar Muscle, Mopar Action, and Mopar Collectors Guide. Haven't gotten any of them for over 5 years now. Only magazines I subscribe to now are Vintage Tractor magazines.

No longer. Hemmings Muscle Car ended had Hemmings book with cars &parts ran out a few months later. Might be suckered in but Mopar Collectors Guide is ah. If it's still in print.

the J C Whitney catalog was my favorite
I must have memorized every page of JCW when I was a kid.
Ya loved look though it. Bought some parts for my VW. One part showed me why some parts were cheap. Bought a bolt on deep sump. The sump wasn't a 2nd, Worked OK but the stud holes were off a bit. The sump was square with the engine sump, it was at 1 O'clock

No subscriptions. Hagerty comes with insurance premium.

Too many ads. Better content on YouTube and forums.

I haven't gotten any in years. I used to buy some subscriptions from the kids for school programs. Their class got a portion of the money for the sub. fee. I thought that was a brilliant way for those magazines to get out there, vs spending money to basically cold call or drop post cards in the mail.
I had a few different ones back then, Hot Rod, 5.0 (Mustang/Ford book) Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords(a lot more classic, 5.0 was all Fox Body and 90's stuff) Car Craft....
I kept most of them, but handed a stack of the "fast fords" to my brother in law as he is an avid ford fan(he has a late model Durango and a Silverado for daily drivers though LOL, and my old second gen ram)
I like to look into them if I am working on something related though. Some of those tech articles are just so much better put together than ad stuff modern internet pop up window, "subscribe now" BS.
Times change.

Nope!!! Gave them up with the last being Mopar Action. MCG was and is a FOOKING joke as the owner, Rob, is one of the biggest idiot jerks to hit the planet...JMHFO, mind you!!! Really have no need anymore for any of them because I no longer have a ride and not turning wrenches and busting knuckles...cr8crshr/Bill :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

I was an avid supporter of Mopar Action.
They shut the doors when one of their publisher (Harris) pulled the plug. They returned after a few months with another publisher and that lasted awhile.
Mopar Muscle was okay with Randy Bolig as Editor. I didn't care for the Johnny Hunkins guy as much.
I would gladly subscribe to both if they were still around.
MCG though....That mullet head dork that runs that magazine can take a hike.

Took the words right outta my mouth, Kern!!! Mopar Action was actually my favorite out of them all, as I was a huge fan of EBooger/Ehrenberg, and used a lot of his tech tips, upgrade suggestions, etc. when working on my 2 cars at that time. Me thinks that the reason most magazines have gone by the wayside is because of the internet, as now just about any and all things and info one might need is online these days. Sad really that printed periodicals are just a dinosaur now...cr8crshr/Bill :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

I’d let my MCG subscription drop a few years ago.
I was just getting Hemmings Muscle and Classic car.
Then they shut down. After years of having as much as 6 car magazine subscriptions I was down to 0.
I was at a Mopar Swap last winter, and MCG had a booth there. I liked one of the Tee shirts they were giving with a subscription so decided to reup and have one car magazine coming again. But since I started to get it again, I’m not finding much very interesting in it so will likely let it drop again.
