Do you still get any car magazines?

MCG's latest issue isn't filled with trailer queens for a change. It does seem like Rob only focuses on queens though. Saw that again in Van Nuys.

Gone are the days reading stuff on paper, only time I do anymore is when waiting at the place I get my haircut or at the dentist having some magazines. I don’t see them at the clinics, maybe they think they spread germs. At the clinic I go to I can’t get a decent cell signal.

I have hundreds of magazines a few going back to the 1950’s.

At the last car show put a bunch of them out on a table under our canopy with a sign ‘free today only’. It was fun to watch the people who came up to sift through them, even youngsters and young gals. By the time maybe a dozen were taken, a guy walked up saying ‘Can I take all of them?’ I said have at it, he replied thanks this will be great reading over winter. Still have tons hoping to give them away at the next show in a few weeks.

Miss those days when the latest edition of magazines came in the mail and reading a bit of the morning newspaper over a quick breakfast before heading to work like my dad did. Maybe just the loss of a time that seemed simpler and having some youth left, lol.

I still buy Collectible Automobiles, although it has gotten pretty expensive. I subscribe to a Canadian magazine; Muscle Cars, Bone Stock and Modified. The magazine I miss the most is Muscle Car Review.

That mullet headed dork has featured OEM correct cars and trailer park specials (Run down Day Two cars with N-50-15s and foot long shackles) but turns a blind eye to anything that has a wheel diameter bigger than 15”.
I’ve seen him skip right past nice cars with 17s or 18s on them as if HE is the authority on what is acceptable.
