Our "Camelia" is about nine years old now (has natural ears and tail).
I would say that for most of the dogs that get a bad rap. The only thing I really watch out for even with the sweetest dobby/pit/whatever big dog, is they can still be a bull in a china shop and can hurt others when just trying to play. Had a bad experience with that when I was still a teen with a young big dog and a mid sized senior dog.We have had 3 Doberman's over the years. These dogs get a bad rap from TV and movies. They are a reflection of how their masters have raised them. Ours were happy, gentle dogs that were dedicated and protective of their family. They were excellent babysitters for our small children, when they were growing up. I still think about them.
