I sure hope pickles aren't bad for dogs.
I opened a jar of sweet gherkin miniatures, and my three Gsd's crowded around instantly. For giggles, I offered a tiny piece to the most eager dog, fully expecting a rejection


He devoured it. Tried a small piece with all three. All three absolutely loved em
Little pieces each, several times, each dog probably had the equivalent of two pickles.

I figured I'd better check if it was okay (too late, if it's not) . Certainly no ill effects noted.

There are so many food items that are "bad" for dogs. Like Avocado's. Our dogs of old snorked those things down. Many others foods too. Some, like the pickles, I would be cautious about. Primarily about the after effects coming out of the exhaust ports. LOOKOUT!!!

Mia is the first pup I have ever seen that puts it her own toys away. She always tucks them in to a corner and puts her hard chewy one out front. The one I step on in the dark like a kid leaves a Lego out.

Zeke and Toga leave their toys wherever. We do have a storage box for them and its funny to hear them rummage through it till they find "it".

& more than likely dry heaves/erps noises
& then puked it up on the carpet, later that night

all my dogs when they eat a bunch of grass, puke
sooner or later, I can bank on it
