DOGS

Cudabug, sound asleep and snoring. The "shutter click" on my phone woke him up.
But he went right back to sleep..... just like the leg he's sleeping on.

Edit: he just woke up, stretched..... and fell off the bed. Lol.

I'm surprised how much my dog Baron,
falls off the bed at least once a week
usually while rolling on his back, he forgets & turns back over & plop down on the floor
he has 1/2 the bed in my King-size bed, he sleeps right next to the edge usually
& I learned quickly I put a pillow under the covers between us
so he won't kick me in the nuts, at night while dreaming or something

It's funny when pets fall off the bed, couch etc. Some get mortified, especially when there's an audience. Others act like nothing happened.

Short story, long:
I have had bad knees for years, from an accident, and playing volleyball after the accident, wrecking the other, playing on one leg. Very loose ligaments, not painful, (usually) not surgical, but if I'm not very careful, they can dislocate from a bad step or movement.
Early this morning while playing with the dogs, I slipped on a carelessly un-cleaned-up pile of leaves and dirt, slipped and fell hard, and felt the knee dislocate on the way down. It snapped right back in, but it could have been a LOT worse.
First thought was..... I don't have my phone , and Liz can't hear me out here. Good thing I didn't wreck my knee!
Second thought was...... I wonder how long it would take her to come check on me? One day? Two?

Point of this story? MY dog (as opposed to OUR dogs) instinctively knew something was wrong, appeared at my side inside five seconds, from across a half acre yard.
Dogs are the best.

has anybody seen one in person? Thinking that for $40, I'll bet it would make me laugh at my dog. The fool thing is supposed to learn (might be a good influence on mine)
