I am getting rolling on my 68 Satellite (225) and I know some components off other cars will fit such as brakes, rear-end, and a few odds and ends. I know 68-70 b bodies would work, but what other cars could I use for some components. I heard a few people say some C body parts would work. What would work? I already have a 69 charger k-member, 440, and 727.

Thanks in advance.

You can use the rear center section from the big Cs as most had the 8-3/4(although many did not have a sure-grip. The axles and housing are too wide BUT you can have them shortened).. getting that 742 or 489 center is half the battle...You can use the brake parts from the 73 and later A-body cars. 60s-70s chrysler-built RVs (many were equipped with the 440--even some of the smaller van-cab RVs)are good places to scavenge various engine/ignition and cooling parts. You just have to look as they were built under many different names. 60s-70s Dodge vans and trucks are good for some things too like window cranks and hardware, and armrest bases and pads although the pads may be slightly shorter in some (like a half inch or so...it depends on how 'correct' you're trying to be--some parts may be a tad different but fit and function perfectly). These things are still out there floating around the junkyards you just gotta keep hunting..
