I bought a 1973 Charger hardtop a few months ago, and long story short: some hunters shot out the door glass before I bought it. I now have some 71-74 2 door B body door windows, but I cant figure out how to install them.[emoji35] I started by unbolting the tracks and window attachment rail. I then bolted the window attachment rail to glass, put the tracks back into the door, but the glass wouldn't fit while attached to the rail. Help!!! I will post pics soon.

You have to install the stabilizer channel in the door first, ie., the metal piece you have already on the glass, then secure it to the glass. There should be openings in the door that allow you to get a screw driver in and tighten the screws to the fasteners that are on the glass.

that metal bracket that you have attached on to the glass has to come apart from it.
those pieces have to be apart to be able to fit them inside the door
you drop the metal bracket inside the door, and then the glass
and inside of the door is where you attach them back together

Ok thanks! I got the drivers side installed, and now I just need to do the passenger side. It's really nice how these windows fit perfectly w/o any adjustments. ☺
