Door Window Channel Rubber Seals

Getting to the weatherstripping. Do the rubber seals get glued into place, or is the snug fit sufficient ?

I used a couple of drops of adhesive in the channel just to keep the seal in place.
Test fit first. You need to trim the seal to get the 90 degree corners.
