Good morning, Doing a Dr Diff front drum to disc conversion on my 65 Belvedere wagon. I got the complete kit with proportioning valve. In the past I had a dual drum master cylinder installed. Do I need a disc/drum MC now or is the one on the car good to use. It seems that some of the fittings are different sizes. Also, does anyone have a diagram of the brake line to P valve? Thanks for any help. Hoping to get on the road soon.

You will need a Disk master Cylinder. The disk side has more volume because as your pads wear the caliper piston travels down the bore taking up more volume so you need the larger reservoir of the disk type Master cylinder to compensate. I bought a disk conversion from Dr.Dif too. I also bought my new master cylinder from him. I have been pleased with the quality of the kit.

I installed the Dr Diff front disc system and Master Cylinder in my 65 sedan. Here’s how we formed the lines. This is as good a picture as I have right now.

When I did my custom disc conversion on my power wagon, I kept the dual drum master. With the limited use the pads don't wear enough to worry about the level in the small reservoir.
I did however run a small screw into the brass seat so that I could pry it out of the master . Doing so allowed me to remove the residual valve behind the seat. I then put the brass seat back and threaded the brake line on to reinstall it

Thanks for the input. I ordered the master cylinder from Dr Diff. They also sent me a better diagram of the brake lines. We'll see how it goes.

In my picture above, those are the Dr Diff brake lines and the prop valve is resting on the frame rail directly below the MC. I have manual brakes and I think I ordered the 15/16 bore MC.

Unfortunately they were sold out of the pre bent brake lines. My buddy will have to make them himself.
