Driveshaft question-swapping from auto to 4spd

i am swapping my 727 trans out of my 71 Satty w/ a 383, and 8 3/4 rear.

The car it is coming from is a 71 charger big block, with a A833 4spd trans and 8 1/4 rear.

What modifications have to be done to either driveshaft, as he is giving me his.

I don't think that any big block 4 speed B body car came with an 8 1/4. My guess would be 8 3/4 or Dana.

YOUR driveshaft should work just fine. HIS driveshaft will be too long if he indeed does have an 8 1/4 rear end. Your slip yoke should fit also.
