I am building a spare carb to try E85 using the Quickfuel conversion metering block kit. Has anyone here used this kit before? My compression is too high now since a recent cam change. I have a mix of race fuel in it now and it runs good with no detonation but when I run straight pump 93 I have heard detonation at start up and it doesn't shut down easy anymore without running on.
I won't change pistons or head gaskets because I really don't want to open it up so I'm changing fuel instead and give that a try. If all else fails I will put another cam in it with more overlap if I have to but ordering a new roller will take 6 months to get.

Thanks

Gus
