I was curious if you could elaborate on a fact or fiction question, will edelbrock heads warp easier than a cast iron head, and can I remove them safely to do future work to my 440 or will they be junk if I torque them and have to take them off in the future and torque them back on?

IF you take the heads off when there hot, they can warp.

While on the car, they should not ever warp. Warpage is due to over heating of the head/engine. Being that aluminum expands quicker than iron, the use of a good and proper head gasket to allow the different growth rates should be used.

you should be able to take them off as often as you like. there is no maximum amout of times you can torque the heads !
