Has anyone used these on a BB 440? If so, are there issues with the distributor clearing the head? I have a mopar electronic with vacuum advance. There was a notation on their web site about that it "May not" clear the head.

Can't speak for the MP one, but the Petronix will definitely require some grinding of the head to fit.

MSD make an extended shaft dizzy for head fitment issues, another reason i went stealth heads

Thanks guys, I've decided that due to the cost, I'm going cast iron. $950 + porting (1300) as opposed to the $2500 for alum

I spent $2000 total including porting, bowl work, valve work, Comp locks and retainers on my new Eddie heads......Things must be pricier in Canada

yeah I had no issues with any of the Edelbrock Heads I've used on several builds, had MP & MSD distributors with stock style caps, you got to love the 100% American Made, assembled & parts quality... they also have advertised flow rates that actually are allot closer to what's advertised {not that it mattered, I ported them anyway}, great workmanship, machining & quality of the Edelbrock's = RPM's, Victors or E-Streets even... great support too

the distributors with HEI style caps may have issues, but there are extended height distributors too, I haven't used any yet thou...
