Have an item listed in the for sale section. Can I edit my own post? Want to lower the price. Tried to do it but no luck. Seems crazy if you can't.

The edit function does time out. You can post again with a reduced price.

Just high light it, copy it and then paste it. Then edit it after pasted. Makes it fast and simple.

Add a post to the thread with the new price?

Seems like the easy way.

...and also documents the reduction.

According to the rules, doing it like YY1 said isn't within the rules but I'm not a stickler on it. How old is the ad now? Some will reduce the price every couple of days mainly to keep it on top and well, I am a stickler about that technique...

Its only been up since 28 Dec so its fairly new yet. Was just curious as I have not posted adds here before. I am in no hurry to sell at this point. Thanks for the reply.
