Emergency brake cable retainer location

Hi, Got a 68 RR, putting in the emergency brake cable, where does the cable retainer go? What side of the brace? How does it attach and lock to car frame? Mine was missing when I got the car. Thanks Phil

There is a difference. The parking brake is not an emergency brake. It is a term that came from long ago that has no place anymore.
