Engine coding.....'Z' code.....

I've seen a TSB letter that fixes the "F/G" code issue but I've also seen a lot of vehicle info written around the original incorrect letters.

I believe 67 and up are correct.

Isn't there at least one reference where it specifically mentions propane?

GTE had quite a sizable fleet of propane powered v6 Dakota's.

Finding the reference in a FSM and finding and actual VIN are two different things. I’ve been actively seeking tags and documents for 15+ years and have never seen a Z VIN code in a dash or fender tag.

I know guys looking longer than that and they’ve never seen one.

out of everyone on this site, and no discredit to any one else, i thought you would have been the one that could show a tag or some other documentation to such an animal. I wonder if one does exist
