I am looking to buy an engine diaper for my 64 Plymouth. I am looking for some help on choosing the right one for my car. Does anyone run a diaper on a big block in an early B body? What brand or type you may have run, what kind of instillation trouble that I may run into? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.

we have to run diapers in our race series if 11:00flat or quicker, DRE engine diapers is one of our sponsors, they are very high quality an fit, they are not cheap around $500, another company is Russler II , somewhat cheaper in price and quality, they are both custom fit for your combo, they are a pain to put on, have to watch around headers , starter , motor mounts etc. but they do work, a couple of guys in our group had their motor let go and clean up was little or none on the track.

Heard nothing but good things about DRE.When I get into the chassis shop I will look into a belly pan with the new oil pan.

My 64 Belvedere has a Rustler II. I sent them a drawing of my pan. Fits very well. My sons SB turbo 62 Plymouth has one as well. The headers aren't on in the picture.

I just bought a summit racing universal one. Any one know about these??? I have yet to open it and wondering if it's good quality. ( hope I never have to use it)
